Great Entertainment for 6 year olds

My daughters (both aged 6) have really enjoyed this series. There are eight stories, so a lot of material to listen to. The stories generated some very good conversations.

Two concerns to warn you about: 1) the characters travel to the Titanic and to 2 wars as part of their travels, so death and tragedy are discussed; 2) The characters (about 8 and 10 year olds), sneak out of the house without parents’ permission.

Good book

I am a 5 year-old girl. I like to read and to listen to stories. So I like Magic Tree House books because some of them are funny and some of them are scary. But most of all they're fun. The end.
(From the reader's mom: my daughter read at an early age so she may enjoy these books more than the average kindergartener. I don't know if that's is the case but thought I mention it because this series is targeted to slightly older children)

Magic Treehouse is a great collection

My children now 11 and 9 have enjoyed this series from the beginning. What a treat to actually hear the author tell her own stories! Although they have read all the books they enjoy having them read to them on the way to football practice. With almost 40 books to her credit you can't go wrong with these stories.

Special Review for the Story

Jack and Annie travel in a tree house to the past to find special gifts for their friend Morgan le Fay, who is a legendary librarian in the Camelot library, which was ruled by King Arthur. I might send it to my friends in my school. It felt like I was in a time machine and it takes me to a certain landmark.

Magic Tree House Collection: Books 17-24

Osborne is an excellent author. She provides a series of book which will foster continuous reading. Audio can be somewhat mono tone at times

Two thumbs up from my 6yo

I haven't actually listened to this myself, but it kept my 6-1/2 year old happy and quiet for two days in the car. Afterwards she had to play "Jack and Annie" (the main characters in the series). If your children enjoy this series, they are bound to enjoy this listen. It's nice that the books are short enough to keep a young child's attention.

Great books for traveling

My children ages 9,7, and 5 love the Magic Tree House series and love these audiobooks. I love the fact that each book is about an hour long so we usually listen to them when heading to their weekly speech appointments. My kids love the stories and I love that they are learning about historical events!

Good and bad

I have to say the story is AMAZING. But I didn’t really like,(well it only did it like once or twice I) but it skipped from one think to another and I didn’t really like that, that much but overall it was pretty good.
