Great books for traveling

My children ages 9,7, and 5 love the Magic Tree House series and love these audiobooks. I love the fact that each book is about an hour long so we usually listen to them when heading to their weekly speech appointments. My kids love the stories and I love that they are learning about historical events!

amazing value

This is one of the best values in kids' books: you get eight books. This was my 6-year-old son's first exposure to the Magic Treehouse series, and he loves listening to this collection.

Great stories for all ages, holds your attention.

What did you love best about Magic Tree House Collection?

I love how the characters go back in time and experience what happened in history. What I really like in this group of stories was Teddy. A little scruffy puppy, who accompanied Jack and Annie on their fun and sometimes life threatening adventures. All the stories really held my attention. One of the stories I like the most was the Civil War story when they went to the Civil War times and found someone who was actually from their family. I'm not telling who so I don't spoil the story. If this is your first time trying audio books, this is definitely the book for you and your kids.

What other book might you compare Magic Tree House Collection to and why?

No other book I can compare with.

Have you listened to any of Mary Pope Osborne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I have listened to other audio books by her. My family has always enjoyed listening to them. My mom was surprised as to how good the stories are.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some parts leave you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to

LOVE MTH!

This series has been amazing for both my kids (8 and 4), they love to listen on road trips, and my son will listen when he folds his clothes and does other chores. Highly recommended!

car trip success

this is our 3rd magic tree house audio set. My boys (3 and 6) love the stories and will listen for hours on long car trips. they are interesting enough for my husband and I to enjoy also. The boys introduced then to their cousins (4) in the car and now they beg to listen to them too.

captivates my 6 year old

Would you consider the audio edition of Magic Tree House Collection to be better than the print version?

The stories are quite imaginative and perfect for my 6 year old son. He's already read Book #1 and he's asked if we can get all of them. It's the first chapter book he's read. We listen to them all the time in the car.

These audio books are a great introduction for kids to use their own imagination to create the scenes. I would definitely recommend them to any parents with young kids. Listening to audio books in the car is much better than watching a DVD. The audio book version has gotten my son excited about reading. And he's into reading these books, even though he's listened to the audio book version many many times.

The audio books get much much more mileage than the print version. What I like is that they still allow the listener to use their imagination. What I like is hearing the reader change their voice to suit the character. And if the author reads it, I get to hear how she intended for us to hear it. She's able to express the personality of the character she created. I do the exact same thing when I read to my son. And the audio book version sounds like a totally different story than when I read the book version.

I love them. And the pages never go yellow on an audio book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Magic Tree House Collection?

When the kids meet Teddy as a puppy

What does Mary Pope Osborne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her characters come out in her voice.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Explore the world through the books in the magic tree house.
