waiting for his mama.
Mama isn't coming yet.
Baby Llama starts to fret.
In this infectious rhyming read-aloud, Baby Llama turns bedtime into an all-out llama drama! Tucked into bed by his mama, Baby Llama immediately starts worrying when she goes downstairs, and his soft whimpers turn to hollers when she doesn't come right back. But just in time, Mama returns to set things right. Children will relate to Baby Llama's need for comfort, as much as parents will appreciate Mama Llama's reassuring message.

This is a very cute little story. Good for car rides with kids - et them up with an ipod with a few stories on it and they can entertain themselves on the ride.
It was sweet & funny & very well narrated!
Parenting is long days and short years.
Fun, and the perfect book to share at bedtime. Glad to find the audible version... we've read this for years.

Quick and fun for the kids. Buy it on sale, we play it over and over with the kids. Fun
This is a really cute story about a llama that doesn't want to go to sleep because his mama isn't there. I would have thought it would have been better if Mr. Kennedy would have done voices for the characters, like most people reading a story to a kid do, but perhaps he wasn't allowed. That was the reason I gave it four stars though. My youngest (2 years) couldn't follow along as easily because he couldn't tell who was saying what. Since it is a kid's book, it also would have been nice to have a downloadable book to follow along with for the kids, especially those trying to learn to read like my 5 year old.
My kids already love the Llama Llama series, so that's why we bought the book and why my kids still like it despite the lacking performance. It's about a little Llama who's afraid of the dark and the entire book rhymes.
It's about as bare bones as you get- no background music- just a narrator whe reads the story without even changing voices for different characters.
Inspired me not to buy the others in the Llama Llama series.
I downloaded this for my son and I to enjoy together and he just loves it! Very well done, nice music and excellent delivery of the narrator. Highly recommend for sharing with a little one. I don't think I would say it is better or worse than the print version, just a different way to enjoy a lovely story.
I thought the book was a collection of poems, but it is only 1 short poem...but over all it was cute and the price was fair for one poem :)
