Publisher's summary

Nick Gautier's day just keeps getting better and better. Yeah, he survived the zombie attacks, only to wake up and find himself enslaved to a world of shapeshifters and demons out to claim his soul.

His new principal thinks he's even more of a hoodlum than the last one, his coach is trying to recruit him to things he can't even mention and the girl he's not seeing, but is, has secrets that terrify him.

But more than that, he's being groomed by the darkest of powers and if he doesn't learn how to raise the dead by the end of the week, he will become one of them...

Great Book!

Would you listen to Invincible again? Why?

Yes for sure, too many reasons, it's a great story line and you really will love all the characters. Their sarcasm is hilarious.

What did you like best about this story?

I can't really pick one thing out because I love it all so far - still hearing it.

Have you listened to any of Holter Graham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, in the first installment of this series and I have to say he is really good. He does not disappoint.

Any additional comments?

Definitely recommend for adults, although for younger adults the book may have too much adult humor in it.

Another Score for Sherrily Kenyon!

If you could sum up Invincible in three words, what would they be?

Suspensful, Surprising, Enjoyable

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nick, his continuing struggle to decide his own fate regardless of what history or others tell him he is or will be is admirable.

Which scene was your favorite?

I think the end. It gave some answers, but left you wanting more.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, if I had the time, I would definately listen all day. But I also did not want it to end, I was very caught up in Nick's world.

Any additional comments?

Higlhly recommend this series, as well as the Dark Hunter Series for Adults.

Ok...ready for book 5 now!

What did you love best about Invincible?

Loved the storyline - funny and entertaining. There are a few slow moments, but not many. I cannot wait until he hits his twenties - things will REALLY get moving then! I love the merging of stories from full series to these Chronicles of Nick. The book unfolds like a movie. I am anticipating a good overlap when the "connecting" story is written. Come on Sherrilyn - don't disappoint!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nick is my favorite character because he speaks his mind and has some vulnerability as well. The one who makes me laugh however is Bubba - love him :)

What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He can read a story for me anytime! His voice and character voice changes allows me to imagine various characters are speaking - no two people sound the same to me - a good thing.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes

Any additional comments?

Keep it coming ... don't you dare stop this series until it merges with the others.

Snarky Protagonist, Excellent Narration

Graham has really found himself in Nick Gautier. The author has provided a witty and wonderfully sarcastic protagonist, who while infallibly snarky manages to consistently come across to the reader as someone you want to believe in, who you want to succeed; and the narrator comes across equally as strong, delivering the story to be undeniably Nicholas Gautier.

A solid sequel overall, continuing the entertaining internal dialogue of Gautier, and introducing a wonderfully diverse menagerie of creatures and characters; a fast paced story that's highly entertaining.

Surprised me

The Book was a great surprise. It is well written and it keeps you entertained. It's a quick read/listen so some times it's hard to justify a credit. But I would recommend
