In Hiccup the Viking's misadventures, the stakes have never been higher, and it's friend versus foe to decide the fate of the world. In this, the penultimate title in the amazing story arc that began with How to Train Your Dragon, Hiccup is faced with a personal dilemma against the backdrop of an impending battle and the possible destruction of everything he knows.

The music between chapters has improved and I enjoyed listening to it.
David Tennant's rendering continues to set the bar almost unreachably high.
Cressida Cowell's ability to write a modern day, good old fashioned hero's journey with all the peril, belly laughing humor and unexpected turns which bring all things to good is unparalleled!
Perfect whether one is 6 or 60 years of age.
I know, I've been both! :-)
I cannot wait to see how it all will end.
Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
Story is getting so good, I am listening to the books back to back now. I just love this series, the story, the characters and the humor. I was laughing my butt off in the car on my way to work this morning. I can't wait until Sept for the final book to come out. This will be a series that I will listen to again and try to get all the people I know to read it. The gravy on top is listening to the very animated voice of David Tennet.
I would recommend this book and series to anyone. The only way this book could be better is if they made it into a movie that was exactly like the book. Even the words be the same!!
The reader of this amazing novel is brilliant. The myriad of voices he puts on is nothing less than astounding! Coupled with that, Cressida Cowell once again writes a brilliantly captivating story that has young readers / listeners transfixed. It is a well outlined story, always making sure the readers understand the story well and she builds a wonderful climax towards the end.
Toothless' dream was my son's favourite part.
I love romance, MG, and YA books.
Hiccup of course! Or possibly Toothless, even though the little dragon can be a butt. LOL
Nobody else could narrate this series like David Tennant does. He's wonderful and I've loved every book in the How to Train Your Dragon series because of his delivery, timing, humor, and willingness to get into character. He's never mixed up a voice in any of the books. I should know I listened back-to-back.
