Enjoyable

Our family enjoyed this audio book a lot. As a family we would drive around listening to it and would even find excuses to go driving. My sons ages 9 and 7 wanted to know if there were any more Half-Moon series. The story was funny and it kept us guessing.

Great, Funny and Wonderful

I do not believe Eion Colfer could write a bad story! He writes another great one here. What a fun book.

Wish list is probably still my favorite Eoin Colfer book but all others are great!

Cute, smart, easy listening.

The title says it all. Colfer's writing is lovely for a smooth read and gives a great insight to his interests and studies. He may use a few cliches at times, but he livens them and makes the motifs his pets, a good thread spinner.

The speaker was varied enough, but he could have been stronger. The characters bled a little because of his strong accent. His Elvis made me laugh though - quite quite unexpected and totally spot on. :)

Love colfer's books

One of the many amazing books by eoin colfer! Love this standalone book. Fun listen! Some of the narration was a little distracting, as if there were patches that were rerecorded and the accents didn't match. Other than that it was fantastic!

Artemis Schmartemis

"Half Moon Investigations" is SO much more enjoyable than "Artemis Fowl." It's a story of a short Irish schoolboy who wants nothing more than to be a private detective, and of the unlikely alliances he forms to solve his case. Laugh-out-loud funny.

AWESOME, Amazing, BRILLIANT, FUNNY! MUST READ!

I had started this last year but then I got busy and I couldn't finish it. But I am finally able to finish this book and it was just as AWESOME and AMAZING as when I started it! This book is FUNNY and has SWEET MOMENTS! I highly recommend it! AWESOME, AMAZING, BRILLIANT and EPIC! A MUST READ!

No Artemis Fowl...

If you are already an Eion Colfer fan like me, it is no Artemis Fowl, Warp, or Airman. But it is still good. It is not fantasy, so it is a lot different than most of his other books. The reader is really excellent and it is still a good engaging story, just not my style.

So much fun - I wish it were a series!

I liked Red - he is a come from behind kind of hero.

Sean Patrick Reilly is consistently one of the best readers for Audible.com - clear, easy on the ears, and great with a huge cast of characters.
