"Dr. Seuss would delight in this presentation of his work." (AudioFile)
I bought these books to help my 4 year old with rhyming. I was delighted with the music and character voices. Not only did my 4 year old run and get his Dr Seuss books so he could read along, but my 8 year and and I were laughing through the stories. I highly recommend them.
Now, I haven't actually listened to much of this but it sure was handy to have on the plane for our 3 year old! It was a great distraction and made her feel so big to use the ipod to listen to her own book! And she even enjoyed it!!
If this one is your first Dr. Seuss audiobook I highly recommend "The Cat in the hat and other Dr. Seuss Favorites" instead: the stories - in my opinion - are better for listening that the ones included here.
My 6-year-old loves Dr. Seuss's books. This audio book has a wonderful collection of the Seussicals that are brilliantly narrated. We play the kids audio books during our daily commute to school and this is one of the most frequently requested (right next to "The Cat in the Hat and Other Dr. Seuss Favorites" (which I have to add is a great deal for the bucks)).
you can not pick out the story you want to listen to. I wish I had read the reviews on itunes and other sites. it is 52 minutes of stories. haven't figured out how to go from one story to the next.
It's noce to find stories that my younger children will love and keep their attention, but not annoy the parents. This does the trick.
Green eggs and ham read by Jason Alexander
I might . Depends on what they want it for. Green eggs and ham was the best story, but the rest kind of got on my nerves.
Jason Alexander was the best, but I would have to think really hard as to rather I would listen to the rest.
I don't really want to see it made into movies. Sometimes that ruins books
I did like the music
Great, It kept the littleones enthralled, narration was strong and charaters beleivable. Money well spent
