We have listened to lots of books on our road trips over the years, and this one was my family's favorite. (Family consists of me, wife, 11 year old boy and 9 year old girl.) The story was funny and kept moving enough to keep us entertained on the long road. The reading was lively and understandable for the kids, who sometimes struggle on road trips to understand. The only downside was that it is relatively short, so we needed several other books to pass the time.
This was a really good story we read it twice, then listened to it

All around great story... My son is 7 and listens to tons of books... this is a repeat favorite... and the ending is a mom's dream... :)
Yes. This is one of the rare books my boys want to read again and again.
Oggie cooder, how to eat fried worms. Other stories about young boys and their adventures. Similar light -hearted action.
No. He was good.
Yes. It's short line the other reviewer said its great for a road trip.
My 11 year-old daughter, her friend and I listened to this book on a short Saturday roadtrip. This story deals with the handling of differing opinions, with kindness, respect and heart. After we had finished listening to the story, our daughter's friend said she had already read the book twice.
The reader's voice was easy to listen to and brought the story to life. The story itself is enjoyable and moves fast.
I would listen to this story again. It was a fun story to listen to at least twice!
It was a funny story.
A trouble maker trying to make it through school.
