I loved the comfedence from narrator, I loved all the twists and turns in the story. it's the best story in all the books and I can not wait until he writes a new book.

So good!
I love Gaiman - he’s a unique treasure. This story is exceptional, fun for adults and kids, standing up to reading it over and over. From this audio, I also bought the paper version which is a delight with all the illustrations!

Hysterical
I listened to this while grocery shopping. I got more than a few sideways looks for laughing, quite out loud, while listening with Bluetooth earbuds. they must've thought I escaped from the nut house.

I loved all the adventure and weird names in this.
I love how the kids saw everything around the room at the end and didn't believe him because it was obviously made up. I also like all the made up names and their origins if they have one. The way he was telling the story off of what was in the room reminds me of what my dad would do when he is trying to make up an excuse on the spot. This is an overall entertaining and time consuming book and is great for any age group. If you are board or have time to kill I recommend this awesome silly book.

Perfectly Fanciful
I already loved Neil Gaiman, so I was a bit biased in buying this book. But I'm happy to report that my daughter loves it as much as I love American Gods.
She is eight. We have the book in paperback, ebook and the audiobook. She has read it over and over. I have read it to her as well. But she loves listening to Mr. Gaiman read it to her as she falls asleep. The different voices he uses are wonderful and he pulls you into a world that of course has a stegosaurus inventor that can nip up a rope ladder.
Next week her teacher will read the book to her class and my daughter is excited to share the adventure.

It's great for any one young or old! I highly recommend it to anyone who has kids or is a kid at heart! It's a delight!
