Publisher's summary

Welcome to Echo Falls. Home of a thousand secrets, where Ingrid Levin-Hill, super sleuth, never knows what will happen next.

Ingrid is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or at least her shoes are. Getting them back means getting involved in a murder investigation rivaling those solved by her idol, Sherlock Holmes, and Ingrid has enough on her plate with club soccer, school, and the plum role of Alice in the Echo Falls production of Alice in Wonderland. But much as in Alice's adventures down the rabbit hole, things in Ingrid's small town keep getting curiouser and curiouser.

" "I've read all of Peter Abraham's novels and think that Down the Rabbit Hole is my all-time favorite....When stories are this good, terms such as 'juvenile' or 'adult' cease to have meaning; this is just one walloping good suspense yarn." (Stephen King)

When she started driving the car

I loved the part where she started to get those sparks of ideas and realized something big

Down the Rabbit Hole (Unabridged)

This is a very sweet story about a young woman on the trail of a mystery. The main character is a teen ager, but her problems are grown up and she manages to get caught up in some fun situations. A great story, a fabulous narrator. Would be good for teen or adult listener!!

A lot of fun, but fundamentally ridiculous

I prefer Peter Abrahams' Spencer Quinn books to those written under his own name, but the Echo Falls series looked intriguing. I really enjoyed this lively, fast moving mobile, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. BUT without spoilers, the story is about a 13-year-old girl who withholds critical information in a murder case, and does all manner of illegal and foolhardy things as a consequence. Her parents are oblivious, and I cannot believe she wouldn't have ended up in the care of Child Protective Services.

Excellent book!

This book by far, is one of the best teen realated mysteries I've read. By the end of the book you'll miss Ingrids company in the car, the CD player or wherever your listening from. Its a mystery that is full of humor, suspense, and adventure! It will keep you guessing through the end. I highly reccemond to teen or adult!!!

The end had me in shock, this is a MUST READ

At first it was a slow paced book and I got bored with it but after chapter 2 it got my attention. This book was amazing over all I would have given it 5 stars but then the end made me scared but I was shocked how amazing and well written it was I'm in LOVE with the end and the whole book but the end mad the whole book. I'm only 12 and I've read many good books but this one is definitely gonna be at the top for a long time. MUST READ IT WILL SHOCK U AND IS SOOOO AMAZING.

What's with the music??

I really enjoyed this story and the reader did a wonderful job. But...for some reason the producer decided to insert a musical interlude between each section. The music had nothing to do with the story, and it was annoying every time I had to listen to it. and it wasn't enough that it was at the END of every section, they put it at the BEGINNING of every section, too. So you had to listen to this random music twice in a row, when all you wanted was to get to the next chapter!!!

boring.

We didn't even bother finishing it.
My 11 yeaer old daughter thought the protagonist incredibly stupid and the story boring.
I had to agree with her.
