Settled in at her new school and flanked by awesome friends Chloe and Zoey, life is looking up for Nikki Maxwell, especially since her crush, Brandon, asked her to be his lab partner - a seriously awesome development. However, when Nikki overhears mean girl Mackenzie bragging that Brandon's taking her to the Halloween dance, a bummed Nikki signs on to spend Halloween at a kids party with her little sister, Brianna, instead. After she finds out Mackenzie was lying and her dream of going to the party with Brandon could be a reality, Nikki has two events to juggle... plus plenty of other entertaining trials and tribulations along the way!

Really funny I enjoyed I loved it so much couldn't stop laughing and at pnr was sad but the rest was OK
This like every other dork diary book was one of the best books I had ever read. I still can't believe what happened with Nikki at Mak's party though. Honsetly though get this book if you like or love dork diaries
I love how this book picks up right where the first one finished..like literally picks up so it really seems like you are reading a little girls diary.. the reader is wonderful her voice changing make the story even cutier. I like how these stories are about situations that could really happen in your life not just for kids but some adults too.. from the bullying to the success against all odds, the busy scheduling, and of course the friends and opposite sex issues are all things I can relate to from my childhood and in my adult life.. great story ready for the next book..
