"Riveting story from opening to end"
My 9 and 5 year old were riveted by this audio book. It held their attention for the entire drive to Cornwall. The story is told through the voice of the main character - 11 year old Laura Marlin and right from the beginning the plot is fast enough to hook you in and keep you guessing. I liked how the story was constructed - Laura has many choices in the plot and often makes the one that we, as adult listeners don't expect. There are moments where you're inner voice is shouting "tell them what you're thinking Laura , have confidence in yourself ". A great story to get through a very long drive.
