Every Roald Dahl book moves me each and every time I read them! This one is a treat, and should be required for all parents. So many take aways. Love.
Loved the narrator. This was a book that I remember only reading once as a child. I vividly remembered portions of the plot and having it brought to life via audiobooks as an adult was wonderful. An easy 5/5 stars
I was in 4th grade and it was my favorite of his stories. This Dahl story is not like many of the other Dahl children's stories--it is not whimsical and imaginative and abounding with made up words etc.
I think the narrator selection and the production is very good and appropriate. As I have stated in other reviews of Dahl's stories. I think the narration and production of most of his other stories is over the top. Dahl is an exceptional narrator of his own stories, and this style is much closer to how I imagine he would read it.
Give this one a listen, Thx
I think that Danny the champion of the world is one of the most awesome books in the world. I love it. It is very very descriptive! Also
It has every thing you would need to know.
