Sara Pennypacker’s rambunctious third-grader Clementine has never met a problem she couldn’t solve—despite being the cause of much heartache for her parents and teachers. In her fourth adventure, Clementine is excited—she’s been picked to be Friend of the Week, a title that brings many new responsibilities.
On the advice of her best friend Margaret, Clementine sets out to make sure her classmates know exactly why she’s such a great friend. But this strategy could prove disastrous.

"Pennypacker's writing once again brings creativity, humor, and sensitivity to Clementine and her world....Fans will be in for another fun serving of their favorite girl named after a fruit." (School Library Journal)
I liked books 2 through 7 in the Clementine series more than the first one. I have to admit, they are pretty good. My daughter loved them and I eventually warmed up to them.
What I did not warm to was the price. Each book is about two hours long, but they are priced the same as much longer books. That doesn’t seem fair.
If they were sold in bundles of 3 or maybe even 2 stories I would be good with that. But at one credit per book, I will return them, get my credits back, and get longer books for my kids. Maybe if this series goes on sale, I’ll re-buy them then.
This book is a good book becuse it is abut friendship and family. I what I do not like is the book was short I read in one morning, but that dose not mater it was a good 😄📕📗📘📙📚book and it is a series
It is refreshing to read a book that is so positive and fun. My kids LOVE these books!
The author and narrator are both wonderfully amazing.
These books are better then the Junie B. Jones and Judy Moody series'. You and your children will want to read them again and again.
I'm a mom. I have drama in my life. I don't want books with the F-bomb, nor graphic violence. I read for fun and to bring my family together. I read for reducing stress levels. We have never had a television in our home and our children are now mid twenties to 19. We listen together and look for belly-wrenching laughter. So what is it like to live without a TV? Awesomely educational and inspirational. Each new book is a marvel.
I love the book Friend of the Week. Clementine is adorable and she tries so hard to be friendly to other children in her class even when she isn't friend of the week. Sometimes the gift is in the receiving as Clementine learns when her kitten is lost.
I love this book. And I love Clementine. I also love Moisturizer. ;-)
For reasons I do not understand, some of these books are listed as Sarah Pennypacker and others are Sara Pennypacker. Make sure you see all 6 books when you search for Clementine. While not exactly critical, it is helpful to listen in order. First is Clementine, second is The Talented Clementine, 3rd - Clementine's Letter, 4th - Friend of the Week, 5th - Family Meeting, 6th - Spring Trip. This book is showing the order of the book but the others do not.
