The story is phenomenal and the way it is read (the voices, the accents etc.) kept my 5th grade students captivated and glued to the edge of their seats. This is by far THE BEST narration I've heard to date!
It was very good, and all the people telling you it is not don't listen to them I think you should read it on audible because it is easier to understand,Hope you like it
My six year old loved listening to this delightfully silly story in the car. The only reason I rated it a 4 overall was the ocassional wild fluctuations in volume. It was in keeping with the story and characters, but I had to adjust the volume a lot in some chapters. President Gillygrass's voice was particularly difficult to listen to, but I think he's supposed to be annoying.
Maybe. However, nothing against the narrator, but this book is best read by oneself. The humor found in the book pictures cannot be quite conveyed audibly.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
This book was well read, the narrator was quite animated. The book itself is not quite as up to snuff as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but it is an entertaining read and I'm sure younger listeners would quite enjoy it.
