Willy Wonka's famous chocolate factory is opening at last!
But only five lucky children will be allowed inside. And the winners are: Augustus Gloop, an enormously fat boy whose hobby is eating; Veruca Salt, a spoiled-rotten brat whose parents are wrapped around her little finger; Violet Beauregarde, a dim-witted gum-chewer with the fastest jaws around; Mike Teavee, a toy pistol-toting gangster-in-training who is obsessed with television; and Charlie Bucket, Our Hero, a boy who is honest and kind, brave and true, and good and ready for the wildest time of his life!

This may not be as magical as my mother reading it to me when I was a kid, but it was an absolute joy to listen to, I will be buying more of his books.

I love Roald Dahl 's books indeed! good good good good
This narration is truly great. We have listened to this at least a dozen times and enjoy it more each time. If you ever tried read this book aloud to your child, you know how exhausting it is to read Willy Wonka's lines. Here the narrator does this hard work for you, and with so much pluck. It's a joy to listen to.
