As a horse crazy girl, I enjoyed this book, but as an adult, I enjoyed more of the social nuances of the story. and feel it is a quite decently written story. And we'll performed.
I felt that the narration of this book was poor and a little depressing for a story that in places is also very sad.

Part 3 Chapter 24 needs post-editing - it has all of Batchelor's mistakes still in it!
