Annabelle, like all of her fairy friends, desperately wants to be a rose fairy when she grows up. But when things go horribly wrong at the Great Selecting ceremony, the fairy queen tells Annabelle she will have to spend the rest of her life as a fart fairy!
As Annabelle's childhood friends distance themselves from her, Annabelle's family - especially her goofy brother, Fevrile - tell her everything will be all right. But, she knows better than to believe them.
This is the story of how Annabelle tries to run away from her life as a fart fairy, breaking rules and friendships along the way. But, when catastrophe strikes, she is forced to embrace her identity as a Forgotten Fairy, leading her to a destiny more important than anything else in history.
Annabelle, the Reluctant Fart Fairy is book one in the Forgotten Fairies series, designed for listeners ages 6 to 106.

The situations Annabelle found herself in at times made me laugh, especially when she was learning the ropes in being a 'fart fairy'.... getting gassed after magically releasing the old dogs fart.... hehehehehehe, it made me giggle out loud!
I'd probably compare 'Annabelle, the Reluctant Fart Fairy' to the Rainbow Magic Fairy series by Daisy Meadows, although the "Forgotten Fairies" series is alot different.
Kat did a wonderful job narrating this book, her characters each had there own voices, so it was easier to know who was speaking at the time.
I actually did listen to this book in 1 sitting, I was decorating a cake, so had my headphones on listening to the book & decorated the cake I needed to do. I finished the cake just after I finished listening to the book.
I can't wait to let my daughter listen to this story, I think she'll enjoy it when she does. Also I can't wait to listen to book 2 of the "Forgotten Fairies" series by M.T. Lott, & anything narrated by Kat Marlowe.
Very funny story! I was able to listen to this story with my kids around, and they also enjoyed the story. Made me laugh quite a few times. Annabelle was able to overcome her fart fairy status.
N.Y. Times Bestselling Author
I loved how different the concept of the story was. My kids thought it was funny.
I loved all the different kinds of fairies in the book.
I love Kat's voice. It is very soothing and easy for a child to listen too. She is a true storyteller.
My kids and I laughed through the whole book.
The narration was perfect for the book. The story was developed well. Great read.
Perfect like always. Love the animation she lends to the characters. The book was entertaining and well developed.
The story provides a fun twist on fairies and their role in the world. Annabelle is about to discover what her job will be. Will she be a rose fairy or a butterfly fairy? No, the queen decides she will be a fart fairy. Annabelle views this as the worst possible job. Will she be able to turn her view of her new job around?
This was a fun and entertaining story from beginning to end. Kat did a fabulous job narrating the story.
The bonding with my child just before bed!! She thought it was funny and we laughed together!!
We love fairies so it only made since that we would love this book. It was even better that it was funny!!
We did listen in one sitting because I couldn't bare to stop it midstory
Kat Marlowe reading the story. Haven't read the book as I listen to the audible book I got tons of laughs.
How the fairies got their names. So the beginning I would say.
I have not but I hope to hear more of her performances.
I mostly listen to self-development type books, but decided I needed a break from that to have some fun. This book hit the top of my list for fun listening!
The story of Annabelle is touching, real, and magical. I enjoyed every minute of it. I am curious to see what other adventures Annabelle and her friends will have in the future!
It is the best one I've listened to thus far. I was laughing out loud more than once.
Laverne, the fairy who trained Annabelle, was the perfect perfect old, gruff and experienced mentor.
Kat was able to make the story come alive with her varied voice inflections for different characters.
It would be a movie for 8 to 12 year olds and it would be tagged "Great things can be accomplished by each of us"
