Like the other books in Diane Duane's popular series, A Wizard Abroad is filled with all the imaginative details of a magical world. Its frisky spells, talkative cats, and moonlight visions are enhanced by Christina Moore's spirited narration.

What the Critics Say

"Moving easily between light, everyday language and the sonorous formality of high fantasy, Duane seamlessly interweaves encounters with creatures from legend with glimpses of modern Irish life and teen culture....An unusually consistent fantasy, rich in details, subplots, and Irish lore." "Amazing"

Christina Moore continues to amaze me. This reader handles so many accents and so well that there seem to be many people reading. THAT is how a story should be presented. Diane Duane and Christina Moore together weave a story tapestry that is very very satisfying.

    "Utterly Brilliant"

The first three books in this series were a mix of science fiction and fantasy-- this one veers to the left to become hardcore fantasy. And yet, it doesn't take anything away from the series.

I think this may be my favorite of the series to date.

It should also be noted that the reader is absolutely amazing.
