Publisher's summary

New Jersey has a fascinating history. The story of New Jersey spans its time as home to a variety of Native American tribes to an area coveted by the Dutch, Swedes, and English, and finally to its modern-day status as the Garden State.

Nice listen, even for an adult

Taking away a little bit because discussion is the Lenape isn't done a well as it could have been. This book perpetuates language like Europeans "discovering" this land. But overall it is well done and would recommend it to anyone looking to learn a bit more about NJ's history.
