Publisher's summary

These are magical and mysterious tales about a world in which all things are living creatures. There’s a story about the Evil Giant with a heart made of thorns and cactus needles. And another story tells about the Girl who married the Rainbow!

Childhood favorite

This is a collection of stories that I remember as a child growing up in New Mexico. It’s an oral tradition that I will continue with my children.

Cute book

Good caricatures. Entertaining and lighthearted. 8 stories, each with different themes. The settings are all old Southwest with imagery of New Mexico and northern Arizona.

So soothing. Childhood memories.

I had this on cassette when i was a child and it helped me through many a sleepless night. Joe Hayes' voice just soothes my soul. Love.
