    "Delightful storytelling."
What made the experience of listening to A Bear Called Paddington the most enjoyable?

Stephen Fry's variety of voices and accents very much enrich the adventures of Paddington in the odd new world of London. I love that I'm able to introduce this classic to the kids with his voice.

What does Stephen Fry bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Stephen Fry's variety of voices and accents very much enrich the adventures of Paddington in the odd new world of London.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but we've been saving it for car rides with the kids.

    Any additional comments?

I loved this series as a kid and this is one of those fab cases where a narrator elevates the experience of a book to another level. As charming as could possibly be!

"Still loveable after all these years!"

When I was in third grade, my teacher, Mr. Merrick, read Paddington to the class and I remember laughing out loud to his exploits. Now that I have a child of my own, I wanted him to have those same experiences. At first, my son wasn't particularly interested, but after about three chapters, I noticed he was becoming completely immersed in the story. He laughed out loud at the end of each chapter and when the book was finished, he begged for more. I downloaded the second book today and I'm looking forward to hearing him laugh at Paddington once more.

Retired and enjoying volunteering and keeping up with national news. Aslo am learning about therapy dogs and hoping to train my dog to do the Read to a Dog program in libraries. That is, if I can get him to learn to behave!

"Cute but goes on a bit too long and predictable."

Good book for reluctant readers. The flow of language is very British so oral reading to get the feel of the dialogue will he
