Publisher's summary

Assassin-for-hire Kade Dennon knows exactly who he is: a soulless killer who can't be saved. And he thinks he's fine with that...until he meets Kathleen. Beautiful, kind, and tough as nails, Kathleen Turner is nothing like the nameless one-night stands Kade usually goes for. Just being around her makes the hardened hit man feel emotions he never thought were possible. There's just one problem: Kathleen is dating Kade's brother, hotshot attorney Blane Kirk.

When a shadowy figure starts threatening Kathleen's life and forces Blane to lose a high-stakes trial, Kade is thrown into the role of reluctant bodyguard for the most captivating woman he's ever known. For a man who spends his life taking down murderers and psychopaths, this battle against his feelings might prove to be the fight of his life.

Kade's Turn is a companion novel to Turn to Me, Book Two in The Kathleen Turner Series.

Kade

This book has a bit of new information on Kade, but it is not necessary to the Kathleen Turner series. You can feel more of the sorrow in Kade's life in this one. The narration is very good.

love the voice of the reader!

I've READ this series multiple times & I love it. I decided to have it read to me & the reader was FANTASTIC! He was amazing with inflections & voice changes (like when being "Kat" lol)

Much better!

I have to say I enjoyed Kade's Turn better than Blain's. Will Damron did a much better job on Kade's voice than Luke Daniels.
If Kathleen had a brain cell working, she dropped Blaine like a hot potato and run away with Kade. Blaine wants her but Kade really needs her. Being wanted is nice until that person wants something else but being needed can last a lifetime. Blaine knows that Kathleen has feelings for Kade. And deep down he might even know that in the long run Kade would be a better choice for her. Kathleen is a simple person with simple needs; she's not used to all the glitz and glamour that Blaine grew up with .
I'm sure more danger will come up and I'm interested to see how the triangle will straighten itself out. Personally I'm pulling for Kade.

A WOMAN WHO STOLE A TOUGH ASSASSIN'S HEART

What did you love best about Kade's Turn?

Wondering if he would get together with Kathleen

Who was your favorite character and why?

Kade, because he had a lot of frustration trying to not care for his brother's girlfriend and yet having to protect her because his brother, and attorney, hired him to do so.

What about Will Damron’s performance did you like?

He has a good voice and dynamics

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes.

Any additional comments?

The only disappointment I had was the ending. I do not like a sad or negative ending. I see too much of that in every day life, and I love a happy ending; but that is to each his own

True Love

If you could sum up Kade's Turn in three words, what would they be?

Exciting, Romantic, and Suspenseful.

Who was your favorite character and why?

After reading Kade's Turn, I would have to say Kade is my favorite. Behind that tough exterior is a sensitivity that Blane does not have. Kade understands Kathleen better than Blane because of life's challenges that they have had to endure.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I am trying to make this book last as long as possible. I am moving from Team Blane to Team Kade. Kade understands Kathleen and is more sensitive to her feelings.

Any additional comments?

While Blane may care for Kathleen, I don't believe he is the best mate/partner for her. Kade and Kathleen have more in common. They both have lost Parents that they care about. Kade and Kathleen what it is to manage money.

"Return of Twinkle of Mischief"

What made the experience of listening to Kade's Turn the most enjoyable?

None of author's fans wanted this series to end, and for once an author paid attention and gave us fans what we wanted from this series...MORE! What a great way to continue on a series. Read Amazon reviews on Blane and Kade. Kade is my fave as he is irreverent and has a twinkle and grin that melts your heart. His witty dialogue is wonderful, so T.S. keep the wit in your books.

What other book might you compare Kade's Turn to and why?

Angela Dawes' reads of this series is a must. Oh how hot she made both Kade and Blane!
Yes, you do have to get use to her female voice, but her male voices are as yummy as author wanted them to be.

Have you listened to any of Will Damron’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my 1st, but not my last. I purchased due to author's spin on Kade and was not disappointed by this reader . In fact, at first I thought he was A.K.A. the great Jonathan Davis, see Sandra Brown's Mean Streak! Will has so much potential for hot romance reads.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

If you have read the original story, then this is the flip side and not to be missed

Any additional comments?

I will have to buy Blane side, but Luke Daniels is not a reader I buy if I can help at all. He does not capture the moment like James Daniels, see Robert Crais's The Watchman. In fact I may just buy and read that book rather than listen. Angela Dawes' Blane is so sexy and the sample of Blane side is dry sounding. Luke just does not have the right cadence to his reads for me. Audible and Ms Snow, use Will Damron for more extensions to the Kathleen Turner series. Thank you for extending the enjoyment to the series.
How inventive !

Great to have Kade's POV

I really do like getting Kade and Blane's pov. You definitely learn things about how they were thinking that could change your perception on some things that were revealed in Kathleen's POV. I'm still struggling with the love triangle between brothers who have a special bond. I don't like that she is causing so much tension between them. I think it's just a me thing. Not what I like in my books. I like everything else so I will finish this series because ultimately I'm too curious to know who she ends up with.
