Gets to the point at a nice pace!!

This book takes you to step by step, I just wish listening to that before my lectures, would have helped a lot! It explains what a database means, how to download a program to use SQLite, and even provides a dummy database for you to use.

Simple learning guide for newcomers!!

This guide is geared toward beginners - people who have little to no experience with programming. It begins with an overview and brief history of programming, but quickly moves onto JavaScript and how and where it should be used.

Good javascript for dummies!

I bought this book because I used to be a coder and had done some JavaScript several years ago. Now I want to re-brush my skillset. So this was a useful book. A little too basic for people who have coding experience.

Ready to JavaScript? Here are the basics!!

This book explains in fairly easy-to-understand language the process involved in learning how to program in JavaScript. I admit to being a complete novice at programming languages but I found the chapters well laid out and the examples presented for each phase in the process.

Great beginner book!!

Learn JavaScript Quickly” to see if I could use it as a textbook. I found the chapters on the history of programming and where JavaScript fits into the scheme of all other programming languages to be very informative.

understanding basic concepts of Java

Gives a good foundation for beginner-level stuff. For the more difficult stuff such as Objects and Classes, one may have to listing over the sections a few times to start to grasp.

The book is very informative!!

As the name suggests this guide really does help you learn about JavaScript very quickly. The information is easy to listen and fluent. When something is explained in the book examples are usually given to give you visual.

The basics of programming and language!!

The book is very well laid out and easy to follow, and full of small projects to try on your own that are fun and very satisfying to complete and see work.

Great introduction and Reference for JavaScript!!

I was already familiar with JavaScript as a language, but I haven't used it much. I was interested in this book to brush up on my skills and to have as a reference, and it delivers on both counts.
