Publisher's summary

Echoes are the whispers of a forgotten past, slipping from Liam’s grasp like water from cupped hands.

Memories bring unbelievable truths leaving Talia with more questions than answers.

Conspiracies find themselves woven into the otherwise simple objectives of the Iterum Project.

Iterum Compendium I contains the first three novellas in the Iterum series. Dive into a mystery of memory loss, a strange Island, violent locals, and a conspiring mad scientist. It was dense at times with to much information. The premise was very interesting Ivor

Action-packed Sci-Fi thriller

Liam and Talia travel to a sister-like planet to explore only to discover that there were many hidden agendas amongst those involved in planning the space flight. Faced with memory loss, violence, and a jealous husband the two struggle to piece together their purpose. The memory loss and hidden agendas put the main characters, Liam and Talia in danger as they fight to free themselves from cannibals and other difficulties on the planet.

This was an interesting series as it was told from different viewpoints which added to the suspense. The author, Michael Sean builds the suspense by revealing tidbits of information within the different viewpoints. This allows the listeners to see and experience a much richer and fuller story. Each character is built with depth that continues to deepen throughout the book. As a storyteller, Sean crafts a tale that catches and holds the listener's attention.

The narrators, Robert Fisher and Emily Woo Zeller, performances are well-done as they are deliberate in transitioning from one to the other in the narration. Both are very skilled in their voices and speaking clearly with the proper amount of tonal inflection. I enjoyed listening to both the narrators. They were a good fit for this series.

This is a good series that will keep the listener’s attention. I hope to hear more from Michael Sean.

There were no issues with the production or quality of this audiobook.
