Publisher's summary

Suppose Elizabeth Bennet never visited Pemberley....

It is October of 1812. Elizabeth Bennet and her family have seen dramatic changes in the past few months - none of them welcome. Her sister Jane needs a fresh start, and Elizabeth is no less eager to leave behind the pain and confusion of not accepting Mr. Darcy’s proposal.

Fitzwilliam Darcy has not seen Elizabeth since he offered for her - and she adamantly refused him. When she appears in London, he is determined to gain her friendship and make amends. When a carriage mishap throws them together, Darcy does all he can to demonstrate his changed behavior.

Though their renewed acquaintance seems to be growing into a genuine friendship, a family secret constrains Elizabeth. As she falls deeper in love with the man she rejected, does she dare tell him the truth?

Highly recommend

Highly recommend if you are a lover and obsessive reader of pride and prejudice. Wonderful rendition of the original Jane Austin, with a lovely amount of artistic liberties that still managed to stay true and respective to the beautiful works of Jane Austin. And I must say it is nothing short of a fan lovers dream to hear Mr. Darcy’s perspective.

Familiar Story, Well Told.

For frequent JAFF “readers” this story will have a familiar feel. There are subtle changes, which are well done and well written.

As usual, however, Stevie Zimmerman takes a lovely story and breathes life into the characters. When I see her as the narrator, I know it will be worth the credit, hasn’t failed me yet.

Absolutely adorable story

This mush was a great read. I highly recommend this book to a Jane Austen fan fiction lover. Great Jaff.

I enjoyed it

This was not one of the most intriguing P&P variation I have listened to, but it was pretty good. I wish Caroline, Lydia and Wickham had been better busted. They deserved to be punished much more harshly. Charles Bingley was his usual happy bounding self - Jane was sweet - Mrs. Bennett was disgusting. Darcy and Elizabeth did not sparkle as much as I wished. But it was still a pretty good book. The narrator was very good but the recording wasn't smooth - jerky in parts and long pauses in parts.
