At the age of just 3-years-old, Brandon Mouw was diagnosed as a Juvenile Type 1 Diabetic. Growing up on an egg farm in California, overcoming family squabbles, becoming a missionary, and learning to overcome his anger with the world for his diagnosis were not the only things that might have slowed Brandon down.
Over his lifetime, he underwent a series of surgeries before he was told a pancreas-only transplant was the only thing that could save his life. Unfortunately, he needed $250,000 to afford it.
