A biography of multiple men

Not sure what I was expecting. Maybe more like a book not just a list of notable and non-notable events in these men's lives.

Short motivating book featuring 3 outstanding entrepreneurs

If you’re looking for a motivating book but don’t have to time to listen for hours as the author outlines steps for being an outstanding performer look no further! Engaging orator, short stories on 3 great entrepreneurs of our time. A lot of motivating tidbits you can implement in your life right away. My only criticism is I wish the book featured a woman entrepreneur like Oprah to relate to an even broader audience. Maybe installment two!

Reads like a biography

The book was good, but it was a lot of biographical information and not as much information on how to accomplish more. It is still worth a read because there were a few good nuggets of information.

It gets really good after the start

In the beginning the narrator and the book format did not do much for me, as it was somewhat monotonous & long lists of accomplishments of those people mentioned may sound tedious. However, by the end of the book, I wanted to hear more - so there is definitely some benefits of this writers formula, so hoping for more great works from him.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Fantastic Quotes! Really gets you thinking.

This book really got me thinking about success. Hearing the beginnings of Elon Musk and Tony Robbins was especially helpful. My favorite parts of this were when they provide quotes from the three individuals. I wrote many of them down to keep as reminders for later. The narrator had a great pace and I feel they were able to keep a consistent momentum throughout the book. I loved learning about the three super-successful businessmen, but it would have been great to see a businesswoman included in the book as well.

Speak and spell

The content was great but it was like listening to a Speak and Spell. Very robotic reading and it was read directly from pages even referencing “see below” etc like I was looking at the page. I would have gotten more out of actually holding the book.

Checklist

I listen to several audiobooks during my long runs especially during these times since I could no longer run with my running buddies. Anyways, this is a horrible book. It is read in the most monotonous voice and the book is just full of checklists. I’ve never stopped listening to an audiobook that I’ve already paid for but I stopped listening to this book. I really tried to keep listening & hoping it gets better but my goodness, it just gets worse!! I had high hopes for this book because of the authors on the cover. It’s just horrible. I’m done!

Reads like the Old Testament & highly repetitive

Low quality writing with an plethora of repetition on same facts and statements. Unfortunate format that makes it unenjoyable to read about three of my idols. Sorry to be so harsh, I was rooting for it to be a success given the quality of the individuals represented.

Some good info… but…

This reads like a book report written by a c+ high school student with a thesaurus beside him. Half of each chapter consists of regurgitating way too much detail from the individuals’ CV’s and later much of the not very well curated information is repeated like he’s trying to fill a word or page count quota. It can be tough going.
