I love how this book left me feeling at the end. Lots of knowledge! My favourite chapter by far is chapter 4; where the author depicts mistakes that she made in past practices and how she learnt the dos and don't of masterminds. This is priceless inside information for creating your own mastermind and how to keep the cohesion of your group on track. I love that part. Short, to the point and practical!

Often times books like this are mostly fluff with little information that can actually be put into action, but this book is different. She refers to some of the greats, includes some quotes and gets on with it. It’s short, to the point and includes practical steps to put into action immediately. I like a book when I can take the information and make it work for me with few changes.

The Mastermind, eplained

I needed this! I only had a basic understanding of what a mastermind group was before listening to this book. Now I know enough to form (or participate in) a mastermind group. And I know the benefits, how to screen members, how to structure the group for maximum effectiveness, and there's even a practice session near the end so my first time won't be my "first time." A solid read with great information and professionally narrated. I recommend this book because "magic always happens" when you're in a mastermind group!

Great quick primer for starting a Mastermind

Great detailed overview on staring a mastermind - was exactly what I needed to initiate my first one. Good blend of checklist items with allegory to help readers understand do’s and don’ts . Only ask is to have the pdf resources attached to audiobook via having to email to ask for them… regardless I highly recommend.

Takes the mystery out of a mastermind

I always wondered what a mastermind group was. Now that I know, I plan to find or create my own. And I'll use the format described in this audiobook. I like the fact that the author took the time to explain the difference between "mastermind wannabes" and the original, and also provided a step-by-step structure for formatting your own mastermind--plus she even has a practice mastermind session. A well-thought-out, well-researched book that will help anyone considering forming or joining a mastermind.

Really useful, well written and narrated!

This is a really useful, short and handy introduction, overview, insight and shared experience about Mastermind groups - essentially accountability groups with very specific rules and guideposts to maximize the use of everyone’s time while ensuring that everyone gets heard and can contribute.

I enjoyed the concept and will likely look for a group myself!

Aside from the writing that is very clear and easy to follow, the narration is stellar. I have listened to and enjoyed Jennifer Sterling’s narration before and I really like her narrations and style! Definitely worth listening to :)

Mastermind ... and master your life

I've always heard about mastermind groups but never really "got" what they were all about. There's nothing woo woo about them. They're basically a group of accountability partners, a tough love support group, a board of advisors for your life. Who doesn't need that?! If you've ever thought about joining one, the format suggested in this audiobook sounds very doable and kind of "no fail" ... buy the book and see for yourself.

I'm a Mastermind Believer

If you don't belong to a mastermind yet, you're missing out. I belong to a mastermind, and it's been very beneficial in helping me define, set, and achieve important goals in my life. The author presents the original mastermind format taught by Napoleon Hill (author of Think and Grow Rich), and contrasts this with other programs that may call themselves masterminds, but don't have the structure of Hill's approach. To be honest, I tried reading Hill's book and was ambivalent; this book gives a much clearer and more accessible description of how to do a mastermind group and what the benefits are. She tells you how to recruit and screen mastermind members, how to lead them, and how to ensure that each meeting is a "power hour." Also, the narrator is excellent and easy to listen to.

I have read before that mastermind groups were used by the most successful people. This book inspired me to crate or to join mastermind group and explained how to do that in these modern times.
