Publisher's summary

Out of the depths of loss comes a glowing shadow....

A modern miracle of science restores a family but threatens marriages. A new alliance is forged, with a love more powerful than ever.

Libby and Coop’s happy family of four is shattered by news that Libby’s mom has terminal cancer. Meanwhile, the past comes back to haunt all of them as Will Brownlee, Libby’s uncle and former SEAL who died in Grenada, has fathered a daughter who finds them through DNA testing and presents herself for the first time.

An extreme athlete and the opposite of Libby on so many fronts, she comes between Libby and her husband, as well as her father. In the middle of a family crisis, Cooper is sent back on an emergency deployment, leaving the family unit behind in shambles.

Listen to this emotional story about love and loss, saying hello and good-bye at the same time, as they all journey on this rocky ride of unpredictable events where control is an illusion.

Will the love they create between them be a strong enough bond to hold this family unit together, or will it explode and fragment into unbelievable pain and loss forever?

Libby and Coop learn about family, and love, and the commitment they hold to themselves, their children, and their legacy, and the risks they must take to have it all. You won’t want to miss this gut-wrenching story of Libby and Cooper and what they will have to do to survive, 10 years later when we first met them in Fallen SEAL Legacy.

The SEAL Brotherhood: Legacy Series is about the original couples in Sharon Hamilton's popular SEAL Brotherhood Series. It furthers the stories of these couples 10 years later, after marriages, children, and separations. These are stand-alone books, but listeners who are unfamiliar with the series would enjoy listening to the background stories first. Book two in the SEAL Brotherhood: Legacy Series.

Listening order recommendation: Fallen SEAL Legacy, Honor the Fallen.

Toouching

Such a well written story.. The family of the military that supports them and their friends are Justice important as they themselves. Many of them lose family and it hurts them just as much as it hurts the family to lose them it's them.

Amazing listen by JD

I read the book last year and enjoyed but listening to this story was even better. The re are several storylines going on yet Sharon has tied them together and JD has made each come alive. We learn of Libby’s mothers cancer diagnoses, Coops deployment that leaves Libby having to deal with everything and oh yes a strange woman comes to their home and says I think I’m your dead uncle’s daughter. The reading JD leaves you with no doubt that all of these characters/book friends are indeed very special people.

Libby and Cooper are awesome

Honor the Fallen focuses on two of my favorite characters, Cooper and Kyle. This is Libby and Cooper’s story ten years later. I thought that this was a very emotional book. It was in terms of their relationship, the team’s relationship, and Libby’s mom gets a cancer diagnosis. I could not put the book down. It has great characters, suspenseful plot, and a steamy happily ever after for Libby and Cooper. I love revisiting the couples in this series. The narration is great. I really enjoyed listening to the book!

Very emotional book.

This book had heartache and happy times that were portrayed well in the audio book. JD Hart did a great job of to g these emotions out in his narration of the book. He is able to voice the characters well that you can tell the difference in the conversation between two people. Ms. Hamilton writes.books that keep your interest through out the entire book. She starts the suspense from the first chapter and continues through the entire book. Libby and Coop have been married for ten years but their love still shows throughout this book. I loved this book and would recommend. it to everyone.

The Narration Enhanced All of the Emotions

This one will bring tears to your eyes. There are a few battles that Coop and Libby have to contend with in this book. One of them intersects with Team 3.

Interesting, this book seemed more to me about change, acceptance, survival, and looking toward the future. As well as being entertaining, going on another Op with Kyle, Coop, T. J., Fredo, and the gang, this book was thought provoking, and often intense.

It also emphasized the importance of family, friends, trust, loyalty, and commitment. Not a lighthearted read, but one of the better ones I have read in a while.
