One of the greatest mysteries in American history is that surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It has spawned countless books, movies, and has generally occupied our collective conscious for the past five decades. Now, approximately 50 years after that fateful day, best-selling authors Jesse Ventura and Dick Russell have produced an engaging and enthralling look at the conspiracies and the truth behind just what led to the murder of JFK. Performed with a chiseled authority by veteran Jason Culp, They Killed Our President is a shocking take on one of the most tragic days in American politics.
Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 50 years, you're aware of the many hypotheses that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was not done by one man. Whether you've listened to one or a dozen of the audiobooks on this topic, there's no way to fully grasp the depth of this conspiracy.
For the first time ever, New York Times best-selling authors Jesse Ventura and Dick Russell have teamed up with some of the most respected and influential assassination researchers to put together the ultimate compendium that covers every angle - from the plot to the murder - of JFK. They Killed Our President will not only discuss the most famous of theories, but will also bring to light new and recently discovered information, which together shows that the United States government not only was behind this egregious plot, but took every step to make sure that the truth would not come out.
With 2013 marking the fiftieth anniversary of JFK's assassination, this is the perfect time for They Killed Our President to be available to listeners. The research and information in this audiobook are unprecedented, and there's nobody better to bring this to everyone's attention than the former governor of Minnesota and US Navy SEAL, Jesse Ventura.

Of course I would. The JFK assassination conspiracy fascinates me for many reasons. One of the main ones is the absolute sheepish actions of the American people when the inconsistencies in reporting happened.
I believe that all records should be unsealed and made freely accessible by the public. And those who were in on hiding the TRUE assassins (and setting Oswald up as a patsy) should be brought to justice.
The info in here is pretty irrefutable, and I would love to see Bill O'Reilly accept Jesse's challenge to debate, but we know that wont happen :)
If you are an old hat JFK conspiracy buff, or new to it, I highly suggest tis read.
It opens up "swinging"
no.. .but he does well enough in this one.
I would have, had I not been involved off and on in the JFK conspiracy research for 20 years.
Buy this book, open your eyes, and continue digging.
Its like taking the pill in the matrix and realizing you are in a tank harvesting your life force.
And you desperately want to turn that institution on its head, because youve been duped all your life.
I am on the young side of being older, but nonetheless - wiser.
If you ever had any doubts, listen to how many inconsistencies, misquotes, and out right lies are exposed here. I thought I had heard it all, but I wasn't even close - don't miss listening to this book. It is important that we see how our views have been manipulated over the years. It is scary to know how many people have lost their lives over the secrets of the JFK assassination conspiracy too.
For listening purposes it was not fun to hear website references frequently mentioned - but many times I did look at the backup and the visual information was valuable in seeing first-hand what was being explained. But be prepared, it is easy to spend additional hours listening to auxiliary interviews and watching compelling videos.
sometimes we forget Mr. Ventura has a side of intellectual presentation. He shows it off well
many examples were new and made sense
Oswald..a difficult character to capture There is no way a 24 yr old kid has this much intelligence and keeps his cool so well unless he knows his back is covered
yes it was
yes, a new take on an old topic well worth it
The Figure Coach
Really interesting book on the JFK cover up. I loved it.
The matter of fact way it is told. As if someone is talking or thinking out loud.
No. It takes time to digest it all.
Off all the books I have this is the best reading performance. I loved his presentation.
Honestly my first audiobook, but I'm a big fan of the JFK conspiracies and of Jesse Ventura
Nothing to compare
Made me very sad that a nation, world and worst of all the family has never gotten the truth about the assassination of one of the greatest presidents in history.
AMAZING, kept me interested 110% of the time. I recommend to everyone, even the jfk doubters
This is a very well researched grand view of the current state of what we know about the JFK assassination. He also makes a great case for why this still maters more than 50 years later. Highly recommended.
The audio version tells the story you need to hear and the book becomes your reference manual.
This book confirmed what I KNEW as a 6 year old. If they were this bad in 1963, I can only imagine how bad these agencies are now.
This book is very well written. It presents great detail research and presents where the information is found so you can do your own fact checking. Even for anyone who has done any JFK assassination research, it bring new evidence and some much needed logic. The material in this book in my opinion bring forth conspiracy FACTS! This book was defiantly worth my time! Thanks
...Is there really a need for the reader to verbally spell out all of the weblinks or URL's in the book, as if people are going to copy them down? Wouldn't it have been more helpful to simply say "this video can be seen at my official Facebook page," and leave it at that? It gets supremely annoying after a while, especially with long links that including periods, slashes, pound signs, and the like. That said, this is a very informative book with a very good performance, and love him or hate him, author Ventura has a way of pointing out when official dogma that one has never thought not to accept is actually *ridiculous*. The best thing for an open mind is an open book.
"Tries too hard"
Very thorough. Explores many theories and adds some new angles to existing ideas.
However, the author explores SO many angles, he ends up tying himself in knots. Also, he presents 'facts' by using the most spurious of evidence. Giving an opinion and then adding "and that's a fact" does not add credence to his ideas.
Taking the endless references to websites out of the audio book. There really is no need for the narrator to drone on and on saying double u double u double dot ad infinitum.
Made it less theatrical.
