The narrator reads a bit too fast for my taste. And while the first writing wasn't all that interesting to me, the writings after that about submarines, landmines, biological warfare, etc... were.
The same narrator reads almost every periodical or magazine to which I have listened on Audible.com. Yawnnnnn!!!!! Also, there is WAY too much depth given to some topics. An example would be the comparison of our system of elections. After about 20 minutes of statistical data about the way different elections would work, the listener tends to "turn off" everything that the narrator is saying. Audible needs new and fresh readers for some of their most popular periodicals.
If you are interested in the nitty gritty of the history of weapon technology, up until present day, this is a must listen. Will keep you intriged to the last minute as to the outer reaches that technology has advanced modern day warfare.
