Publisher's summary

In a world of unpredictable governments, martial law is one of the scariest things a liberal civilian can encounter.

As Americans, we enjoy our freedoms and the responsibilities that come along with them. As new domestic relations emerge and winners and losers are declared, there will always be a reason to have martial law on standby. Right now, America is experiencing racial inequality that could foreshadow the martial law that is to come. To understand how martial law would be enacted in the US today, it's important to understand how martial law has been used historically.

The author possesses a bachelor's degree in business administration and an associate's degree in management technology.

A great Guide to martial law

The History of Martial Law in the United States is a comprehensive compilation regarding Martial law in general and when it occured in the United States. It begins by detailing exactly what martial law is and what it means to have it take effect in a country. He then describes what can happen if you fail to obey the rules of martial lawn and then goes into a rundown of when martial law was first imposedin the United States, and continues right up until the 1960's. He provides a thumbnail of each event. This is really one of Clinger's better works, he clearly has an interest n the subject.

Hudspeth does a downright fantastic job narrating this compendium, and his accent fits right into place. He and Clinger make a good pairing.
