    " Privacy....does it really exsist after 9-11?"

I believe the book brings to light that we have much less privacy then we had in the past. The fact that we are leaving electronic trails for to be read and evaluated by "govermental authorities" no matter what we are doing in our everyday lives is absolutely astonishing. The question is clear in this complicated situation of increase security measures....do we in fact have to give up so much to promote a high level of monitoring to prevent attacks from other countries? Did we really think about the long term consequences of constant surveillance of our people in the United States. Also, how are we going to protect the information that we are gathering on our own society? If you think about it carefully...can we be providing valuble information to others that will inadvertently serve to destroy this great country? I feel that we have overestimated probability in this situation and decisions about surveillance should be made with extreme care.
