    "Heavily Edited"

Watered down and edited. More sound bites then speeches. The speeches after Malcolm left the Nation are the longest and clearest speeches.

Good to hear Malik give several speeches, but being out of order hurts understanding his growth and power.

    "loved hearing Malcolm's speeches!"

great to hear the legend and prophet Malcolm x, it's crazy to know some of the things he was talking about today like the bias press, police brutality, systematic white supremacy, are still things we have to deal with today (50+ years later), even with a half-black president! !!

    "Unapologetic, Fierce, and Still Relevant"

Listen with an open mind or don't listen at all. But if you choose not to listen, you'll miss a vital link in American History that has been forgotten or unfairly discredited.

""Malcolm X," Truly A " Lion Among Men.""

    Excellent!

A "Great" snapshot in history of black leadership, consciousness, and intelligence.

Malcolm X was truly a "Lion" among all men, who loved truth and justice, "by any means necessary."

"Would have liked context for the speeches"

I can certainly see why many white Americans feared the rhetoric of brother Malcolm. I don't think his history was accurate on many points, and neither was what was generally understood about our own past correct either. You can see some moderation in his speech. The audio version of this collection lacks any attribution of time or place. Sometimes you can infer from information provided in the speech itself. His post Haj period was so short that I've always been curious to see where that fertile mind might have taken him.

    "Real Story"

I looked this book of speeches. Hearing his words from his mouth was great. You could hear his transformation. The only negative was sometimes the segments didn't flow. Hopefully I will be able to hear more from and about Malcolm in the very near future.

    "Racist Propaganda for Black Power!"

Chapters 1 to 23 are nothing more than racist views of black power and superiority over white people. It's quite annoyingly that the audio sample gives the misleading impression that the audio is full speech that came after Malcolm X's racist day with the nation of Islam. Please NOTE this audion is full of racist propergation which Malcolm X had denounced after leaving the nation of Islam. Hence it is aguable that Malcolm X would NOT want such racist speeches propergated after he had denounced them and changed his views!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very disturbing!
