Publisher's summary

Listeners around the world have thrilled to Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, and Killing Jesus - riveting works of nonfiction that journey into the heart of the most famous murders in history. Now, from Bill O'Reilly, anchor of The O'Reilly Factor, comes the most epic book of all in this multimillion-selling series: Killing Patton.

General George S. Patton, Jr., died under mysterious circumstances in the months following the end of World War II. For almost 70 years, there has been suspicion that his death was not an accident - and may very well have been an act of assassination. Killing Patton will take listeners inside the final year of the war and recount the events surrounding Patton's tragic demise, naming names of the many powerful individuals who wanted him silenced.

Great listen

I like how it covered the larger story line of WW2 and the big players.
O'Reilly's pro bias of FDR is noticed but he holds no punches back on personal issues for all.

Excellent

Excellent book. Very engaging study of multiple characters participating in WW2. I wish all history was so enthralling.

Say What You Will...

Say what you will of O'Reilly as a commentator, but he and Dugard are fine historians who bring their subjects to life. I don't like the bordering on conspiracy theory stuff towards the end, but that little problem is outweighed by the good. Pick this one up today.

Good story, below average narrator.

O'Reilly really should have a professional narrator. He has very little expression. It is a good story

history with heart and context.

I enjoy Bill O'Reilly's style. He puts history into real human context, giving it depth and perspective. I will by more of his work.

First rate as any story of Patton would be.

Great story. Bill did a passable job reading with only a few minor, but annoying production issues.

Great history. Awkward read.

I love the detail and credibility of the history. It was an amazing story and very enlightening. Unfortunately Bill O'Reilly mispronounced many words and names and made it hard to listen to at times.
