Great to learn history from those that were there.

Great to learn history from those that were there. we need these books so history is not written by academics who tend to want to put their own spin on it.

Sheer Bravery

There's much to love in this story of those heroes at the tip of the spear that sought the world's most infamous terror. I loved the inside information.

Great History

Major Greer has written an excellent count of events. A piece of history that needs to be read and/or listened to regularly. We do not want to forget what happened, and let it get washed away.

Ex-military that can relate.

Great book. I share the same frustrations as the author with regards to higher level officers who are more concerned about politics and their performance ratings than killing the enemy.

Kill Bin Laden

Slow at start and cirquitutious at times but a very infomative report of the Tora Bora situation and difficulties faced when trying to kill Usama Bin Laden by precision bombs.

True telling

From someone who was there. It is refreshing to get the truth and, after reading Pete Blaber’s book about the next big battle in Afghanistan, I can see the larger picture of that war.

Informative

I selected this title at the suggestion of a friend. The author is very concise about his description of the events which took place on December 2001, in the Tora Bora mountain range. The story is very compelling in a ra-ra sort-of fashion. The author's position as a former Delta operator made me question some of the accuracy presented in the details. A fascinating story, told by someone who was there.
