Editorial reviews

For all the wonders and advancements the science world has given us, scientists can sometimes fall into the trap of consensus beliefs, which is exactly what's at the heart of Peter H. Duesberg's Inventing the AIDS Virus. Known for his cancer research, Duesberg, in this audiobook, challenges the wildly held view that HIV is the cause of AIDS. Accomplished narrator, J. Arthur Tripp, handles the challenging text with the appropriate aggression needed for this controversial subject matter. Listeners are sure to be intrigued by this lesser-heard side of the AIDS discussion.

Publisher's summary

An eminent scientist and pioneer in the discovery of retroviruses challenges the widely accepted belief that HIV is the cause of AIDS. Duesberg argues that HIV is merely a harmless passenger virus that does not cause AIDS. Sure to spark intense debate, this provocative book offers an original and incisive critique of the rise and fall of HIV.

AIDS hoax is blueprint for Rona Hoax

For over 20 years this book has been suppressed, its author ridiculed. It is chilling and creepy that the same con artists who infiltrated the medical research industrial complex (that Eisenhower mentioned in the same breath as the MIC) in the 70s have successfully sold fake diseases and harmful cures in the 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s and now the final coup in 2020. HIV does not cause AIDS. SARSCov2 doesn't cause Rona, which like AIDS is an ambiguous collection of symptoms that make diagnosis objectively impossible. The only way to confirm AIDS or Rona is positive PCR for "the virus that causes AIDS/Rona. This is the tautology necessary for AIDS and Rona hysterias. Virology is literally a mafia racket. Fowchi and Ghallo are two of the deepest infiltrators of science funding (therefore journals therefore research therefore science itself) which has been mafia controlled through "philanthropy" since JD Rock Sr and Jr corrupted the AMA over 100 years ago. Medicine is a racket in the same way that War Is A Racket. Doctors are the useful idiots in the front line just like soldiers in actual war. Deusberg is the Smedley Butler of the medical racket. Both are courageous heroes screaming at the top of their lungs that organized crime has infiltrated the highest levels. Both were mocked and suppressed by mafia infiltrated media. This is the endgame for humanity. Mandatory vax is coming. Obedience is evil. Question Authority.

A must read! Even if you don't agree with Dr. Duesberg's theory for the cause of AIDS.

Duesberg plainly describes the systems in place which are used to manipulate and control the narratives and silence dissent of the medical industrial complex and control the founding and/or release of new technologies. This technique is not only used in the so called medical industry, but in all areas of industry such as energy and defense.

Must read/listen for everyone!

If you could sum up Inventing the AIDS Virus in three words, what would they be?

Factual, Frightening and Infuriating

What was one of the most memorable moments of Inventing the AIDS Virus?

The moment you realize we have ALL been lied to for all these years.

What about J. Arthur Tripp’s performance did you like?

His voice is easy on the ears and consistent.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes. It made me even more furious than I already was about this topic.

Any additional comments?

It is obvious to see why Dr. Peter Duesberg has been ostracized all these years for daring to stand up to the establishment. After all, AIDS is a business first!

A dated look at the early AIDS epidemic

It's difficult to know what to say about this book. While I believe Duesberg makes some valid points, especially about the early years of the AIDS epidemic, he has surely been proven wrong. The assortment of drugs used in the cocktails to fight HIV have certainly made a big difference in saving lives ... so HIV must have a very significant role in AIDS. I am sure Duesberg is right that there are co-factors that determine how well individuals deal with an infection of HIV. Still, at this point, it feels wrong to say that HIV is a benign passenger virus.

If you are interested in the history of AIDS and how researchers approached the epidemic, this book is worth a read. It is a long book and is dry in places ... but it deserves a place in history. Properly understood, it will add depth to your. understanding of the AIDS epidemic.

History repeats itself

Fascinating book so valid and pertinent for our current global scenario. Fauci and many of the same players once again spreading fear and hypnotizing humanity for profit.
Thank you Peter Duesberg may your tireless work to tell the truth and return science to it’s proper place as an aid to humanity instead of a weapon used to make profit for the few.
RIP Kary Mullis I wish we could have heard your thoughts and voice last year with regards to how your invention the PCR is being used to fuel this madness. I am sure you would have raised hell!

Incredible

It was extremely comprehensive, informative, interesting, and just a stellar work of literature. It is quite shocking to realize how much politics is involved in scientific discovery and consensus

Excellent Expose

Wow, brilliantly researched. A true diamond in the rough. I am amazed that Duesberg stayed so strong against the incredible opposition. It is inspiring. So glad that this work is here as a repository of humble unflinching perseverance to truth seeking. Thank you Duesberg!

Hyperbole at its Best, But Sounds Plausible

The first thing that struck me as I listened to the book and its hyperbolic claim that HIV does not cause AIDS, was that the book was written 15 years ago. And of course, 15 years of medical research is nearly an eternity; consequently, I would have preferred a book making such a brazen claim that had a more recent copyright. I found one on Amazon, Science Sold Out by Rebecca Culshaw (2007); however, it is not available on audio or digital, so I was limited to Duesberg's research if I was staying with audio. Although most of the book was too detailed for my taste buds - quoting stats and referring to studies - his premise seems to be plausible.

After listening to Inventing the AIDS Virus, I was reminded of the old saying, "It was worth the price of admission." Despite the chock full of statistics, there is plenty to like about the book. I found a number of items that made the listen worth while. For instance (and I don't think this is a spoiler), Duesberg questions the notion of a virus causing a terminal disease that lays dormant in the body for more than 10 years. Typically a virus manifests its symptoms within days or weeks. As simple as that sounds, it was worth listening to the book to just be reminded of that one fact.
