Fantastic progression from training to covert ops

Command Master Sargent Eric L Haney describes his path from Airborne Ranger, SOFD-D selection (founding class), through some of our most well known and many unknown operations in AWESOME detail. Must have for military enthusiasts.

Good reader and good story. I loved the tv show "The Unit" and when I found out it was based on this book I had to give it a listen. Some really good stories about a group of people we rarely get to hear about.

The best military read since Rogue Warrior

I could not put this read, or listen if you will, down. Absolutely one of the best
military reads since Commander Marcenko's Rogue Warrior. Command Master Sargent Haney covers everything from entering a room of bad guys with hostages to the bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beruit. By the way, a fact that was not covered almost anywhere, is that all the CIA station chiefs in the Middle East where in a staff meeting in the conference room above the enterance to the Embassy at the time of the bombing!

Excellent history lesson!

Really enjoyed the content of the book but the narrator needed a little coffee now and then. But a job well done all around!

Best Delta Book I’ve Read

Out of the few books I’ve read on this unit, I would put this down as my favorite. The story telling lured me into binge listening.

Everyone in America should listen and open their eyes!
Instead of participating in their own selfish indulgence.

Ends With a Superb Moral!

This Audiobook brought back some great memories. His telling of the history of Delta through his own personal experience made me laugh quite a bit. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

this book is very interesting and I sight full I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning about Delta Force. there is also another book by Charlie Beckwith which I would say you should read as well if you are interested in Delta Force
