Best book I've read in a long time!
This is a must read. Gripping, emotional and true. Makes you appreciate Zuckoff's brilliant writing, research and his dedication to getting the story right complete with helping us to know these heros. Thanks for a super book.

Real Men
I am a man. Not really! I'm just a wimp. You probably are too. Now this true book will tell you the story of real men; men of unimaginable courage, strength, faith, self-sacrifice, endurance, guts, fortitude, intelligence, know-how, skill, ... more. This is one of my favorite books of all time. Zuchoff brings it all together in a masterpiece. Look up his other books too - you won't be disappointed.

This book is exceptional. The author narrates and he is a wonder reader. Lovely voice. Gripping. I was really interested in this story and I had somehow never heard about it before my dad recommended this to me. Well done. Will listen again.

Epic story
As a retired CG officer and pilot, I stayed in Pritchard Hall more times than I can count. I had the honor of knowing both Captain King and Captain Long. I knew the overall story but can’t begin to express my deepest appreciation for all those responsible for this book’s filling in the details. Heroism at its finest.
Great story. These men deserve their story to be read and remembered. Wish I had read it rather than listened. The reader was a bit fast and difficult to grasp all the detail. Well worth the read.
