Good recall of American history

i really enjoyed. This audiobook clearly lays out the facts. definitely not boring. I recommend to anyone who enjoys history.

Yes. I could listen to this over and over. It brought me back to that weekend in 1963. I cried then and this story brought it all back again. I have watched many tellings of this on TV over the years but this was the most compelling report ever. I felt the emotions all over again. Kudos to ABC. Absolutely outstanding.

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

The voices throughout - from 1963 and from today. It just hit a nerve all the way through.

Have you listened to any of Diane Sawyer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. She is amazing. But the JFK assassination changed history and changed our lives - mine for sure.

P.S. I cant believe its been 50 years. Im getting old

Remembering that historic day when I was 15

Listening. to the broadcasts and commentary took me back to my sophomore year when I heard about Pres. Kennedy's assassination like ni other documentary I have researched. Many of the same emotions resurfaced and I realized why I thought there was hope for his survival when there was not. Good insights. Fascinating and frustrating still.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the fact that it included actual recordings from the 1963 reports of the assassination. It was well put together and the older recordings were very clear.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed hearing the back-stories that you don't get in the history books. I would have expected a little more discussion of some of the conspiracy theories. They quoted an authority who dismissed the theories. Still, I would love to see more broadcasts like this provided on Audible.
