An exhilarating story of a young Navy SEAL whose relentless faith transformed his life and inspired everyone who knew his courageous story.
In A Warrior's Faith, Ryan Job's close friend, Robert Vera, recounts how the highly decorated Navy SEAL's unstoppable sense of humor, positive attitude, and fierce determination helped him survive after being shot in the face by an enemy sniper on a roof in Ramadi, Iraq.
Though blinded, the irrepressible Job recovered from his wounds and began facing a new set of obstacles with his characteristic humor and resolve. He married the girl of his dreams, hunted elk, climbed Mt. Rainier, graduated college with honors, influenced countless people around him, and was looking forward to being a father--before his life was tragically cut short by a hospital medical error.
Vera's raw, often funny, and heartfelt account of his friend's life offers listeners a way to find hope in the middle of life's raging storms.

I saw this book at Costco while looking for a gift for my Dad for Father’s day. I decided to get it for myself as I was intrigued by the story and have listened to similar books like “Fearless” and “Unbroken” as well as several other military stories.
This is a highly recommended listen about a true Warrior who kept his faith regardless of what happened to him, much like his Biblical namesake Job.
It’s well written with a solid narration. I was left inspired by this young man who never let circumstances get in the way of living his life.
God bless Ryan Job and the men and women in our military who are just like him.
This wonderful account of Ryan Job as a Navy Seal who grows in his faith of Jesus. This account is of his life and death honors our saviour.
What's cool is that this story purses together some of the other great works like American Sniper, act of Valor, and others.
Ryan was such a heroic and amazing person - the book really captures the essence of what made him. Issue comes with his life being presented as a study on how to except God and be a Christian. Makes it a little hard to swallow.
"Very inspiring story!"
I find the story very emotional and uplifting, tragic and inspiring! I think anyone can learn from the example set in this book to come to cram as much into your life as possible.but more importantly your belief in God means that there is no such thing as coincidence.
