Wow - eye opening!
I read Emily’s memoir awhile back, so was curious when I saw she’d released a book about her MLM experience. I knew enough about MLM’s to avoid them, but wow, things are so much worse than I realized. An engaging personal story with a lot of interesting research - I hope Emily keeps writing more as her journey continues to unfold!

This was so fascinating + interesting
I was invited to join an MLM one and passed, but recently there have been more of these “boss babe biz coaches” who hide they earned their money that way, so I was curious about this book.
I listened to the whole book in 2 days and was blown away. I was hooked and kept wanting more. Emily is an excellent writer- and for all the haters who mentioned it was political, chill it’s like 2 paragraphs out of 10 hours. Bravo Emily!

So well written, narrated and told
This is one of the best narratives I’ve heard on Audible. It’s so nice to hear it from the author herself and makes the story that much more relatable. I’ve been looking forward to hearing Emily’s story and I’m not disappointed. In a way it’s extremely shocking, yet not at all.

Well written, enlightening, honest, and vulnerable. I appreciate the author’s willingness to not only dive into the mindset she was in when she was pulled in to the MLM, but how she has worked to deconstruct the experience after she has left. Loved the honesty
Great story, great narration. Such great content on now women and “boss babes” don’t always do the best for one another and can be victims and perpetrators simultaneously. Also an excellent open discussion of “sneaky” (or not so sneaky) white supremacy in everyday life. Did not know the connection between MLMs and QAnon—scary.

A very important book!
This book/audible should be required listening in high school for students taking personal finance classes. Young people, especially girls, should have this knowledge so they aren’t preyed upon
