    "Worth the purchase"
Where does You Can Heal Your Life (Unabridged, Adapted for Audio) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Any time an audio book is read by the author I am more inclined to buy it, as it changes the final product in a major way. In this case I thoroughly enjoyed hearing her message and think she offers a great approach to life. Her info is not new to me but it reinforces much of what I know to be true. I do not really agree with her take on the list of diseases and ailments and how they all have psychological roots to be explored; in fact I found it a bit ridiculous. There is certainly a connection with ailments and our beliefs but she makes it seem too straight forward. Nothing is that straight forward. Yet her book is still worth a listen. Well done, good food for thought, and quite a bit of wisdom.

"A classic, doesn't get old, very empowering."

I have studied Louise Hay material before, and a LOT of other material from 100s of authors, but hasn't yet read her book. But recently I made a point to, and glad I did. I got something very profound out of it. Very inspiring, and truly healing. Thank you Louise for your bravery to make the changes and your guidance.

    Any additional comments?

My daughter who lives in Florida called one day because she was excited about this book. She wanted to share all she'd read. Excitedly, she wanted to share the book with me. She encouraged me to read it and I did. The same day I downloaded the book I heard it 3 times and thereafter I hear it once a week. The book is inspiring!

    "Warning- Extremely Offensive"

My jaw dropped when I listened to this audiobook. Frankly, Louise Hay is not fit to counsel anyone that is an adult survivor of parental sexual/physical abuse. Why?

She specifically states that the survivors shouldn't blame/complain about their parental perpetrators because the survivor CHOSE this to happen as part of their development in dealing with unfinished issues from a previous life. I am disgusted beyond belief.

She drones on further to state that the abusers are not to blame because they are victims too and just don't know any better. Whatever happened to personal accountability? Louise Hay is an incredibly incompetent person to attempt to perpetuate these ridiculous claims. I am so sorry that I purchased this.

If you are a survivor of abuse, be it sexual/physical/emotional abuse, I would highly recommend staying away from this cruel and misinformed so-called "expert." It would definitely be considered triggering.

What made the experience of listening to You Can Heal Your Life (Unabridged, Adapted for Audio) the most enjoyable?

This lady is a blessing. I just wish she gave honor to the Creator of the universe Jehovah God as opposed to "the universe" or "mother nature". Jehovah God is the force that activates this book not some unknown force or chi. Also, I found it interesting that most of the positive stuff was taught by Jesus Christ and in the Word of God, The Holy Bible.
