Plain English

A basic common sense approach to stopping bad excuses with plenty of suggestions. A very entertaining and motivating book that keeps your interest and makes you want to start your exercise journey. This is one to keep in your library!

Great reference guide

This was a great quick read all about getting you over your excuses. It does a great job of keeping the reading light and not to technical. It is about getting your mind set right and giving you a way to battle your excuses. If you are looking for a good moral boost- this book is great. It is written in a way that not only reads as a book but gives you quick access to specific excuses for future reference.

Lifestyle changes - Reference book

This is a good book about lifestyle changes. The explanations are very easy to understand. Because all the tips are in chapters, it's easy to get to a specific topic for a second listen. It's a reference book to keep.

What's your excuse...

A quick easy listen that's chock full of great information. I swear all the excuses I've used are mentioned along with possibly solutions to get past them. I'll certainly be listening to this book again when I need a little boost!

Getting fit for some of us can be hard. Finding excuses is easy. The author even encourages the listener to send in their excuse if it is not covered in this title. She manages to cover most of the common excuses we have. There were several I know I use in the lot.


This is not a how to get fit book. It is more of a motivational. How to get out of your own way. We are often our own worse enemy!


I felt called out after listening to What’s Your Excuse for Not Getting Fit?. Things should be self-evident, but denial is devious bed fellow! I came away feeling more self-aware to my own self-sabotage and with a hope for a more fit future!
