I am a Vegan and this books ranks at the top of my list. I have listened to it several times because I find it informative as well as motivating. Knowledge is power. And that's what I needed. My old ways of doing things using only will power, didn't work so well. And now I know why. Understanding how food is processed by my body gave me the knowledge I needed to make this weight loss process work for me.
I read the "Skinny Bitch weight loss guide" This is similar to that book because Weight Loss for Vegans gets right down to the basic's: calories in and calories out. The what's what and why;no fancy talk here just the plain straight facts. I like that about this book it doesn't waste my time.
My favorite new information is the complicated understanding about starvation. I'm told to not go hungry or starve myself. It won't work. Also how my body will eat it's self if my calorie level drops more than 500 calories a day. WOW and all this time, I was trying to lose weight the wrong way.
Craving constant craving. How to work with this need... that just won't go away. I learned it is hard wired into my brain. The cookie monster. The craving for funk food; just can't get away from it. All my life I've had that battle and always lost. This book gave me a strategy that works. Amazing, eating just one bite does not help. I'm told I have to eat it all to succeed in this weight loss game.

In less than two hours I felt armed with valuable info regarding weight loss. As someone who switched back to an “almost Vegan” (I’m not quite there totally yet) eating lifestyle about two years ago, I found my weight zip upwards. Not a lot but definitely more than I planned. In talking with an acquaintance she too had experienced the same thing but even more weight gain.
This audio book gave me a solid game plan and also motivation regarding a plan to continue on with my Vegan eating habits yet take off the extra pounds that I put on. I now know why I gained those pounds and how to ensure it doesn’t occur again.

This is a very compressive quite that will entice the taste buds in a unique and original way that is not for the faint of heart. Author Charles Thornton has created in a step - by - step guide that will enthrall the imagination and sense in a fabulous way that personally feel is lifechanging as well as profound in nature.
I never new that it would only take 3 months for an individual to get rid of all of the bad cells and replace them with good nutritious good cells. Then again this is not your ordinary weight loss audiobook. It is filled with valuable information that you will want to listen too over and over again until it simply becomes a way of life. In short, I personally feel better and have a new found energy that I had long feared been gone.
If your looking to loose weight, build energy to get through the day and really don't have the tim to sit down and read a book then this is the way to go. I listened to it in my car on the way to work and frankly wanted to circle the parking lot a few times before getting out.

Weight Loss For Vegans makes it clear through the use of scientific information that just going vegan isn't necessarily enough to lose weight. While it's a naturally healthy choice, vegans also have to be mindful of their caloric intake, the amount of each macronutrient they're consuming, their activity level, and the sources of their calories. The book also gives great sources of protein for vegans that I wasn't aware of.
The book is a great resource for any vegan looking to lose weight on a vegan diet.
I really enjoyed this. There were so many great tips and I appreciated the bit of scientific information about weight loss, diet and appetite. It was VERY insightful. Linda Cee did a great job narrating ans Charles Thornton presents rhe information in a simple enough manner that everyone can enjoy this listen.
I loved the very sensible suggestions about changing the mindset when it comes to diet and exercise and the simple workout tips made me feel silly because I should have thought of them myself! This is a great addition to my audiobook library!
