Personally, I find her very enthusiastic. So listening to this book was never boring.
I'm so excited to make pumpkin spiced pudding for Thanksgiving. It's one of my favorites recipes from this audiobook. It's not just really good but, it's very healthy too. My in-laws are definitely gonna like this recipe because, they are health conscious as well. I'm going to make some slow cooker fudge as well. They wouldn't believe that they would be eating yummy but healthy dishes. I'm going to recommend this book to my sister-in-law, who wants to start a healthy diet but doesn't know how to start. This audiobook would be perfect for her.
When I saw this bundle, I immediately purchased myself a copy. I own two books by Valerie Childs on this topic and I really enjoy them. Having this enhanced experience just seemed to make sense.
Get this if you're considering transitioning to a Paleo diet or lifestyle. There are just too many great reasons to do so. Valerie Childs is a phenomenal writer of natural-centric material and I will always support her work. She makes her material so easy to understand and that's always key for my consumption. I'm usually on the go when I listen to these and I just don't have time to have to go back and forth trying to process this information. She writes in clear, concise language and I love it.

I love how simple and strait forward the recipes are. This is more like two books not one so you feel like you really get your moneys worth. I really love the slow cooker recipes. Set things up before you go to work, tell your slow cooker to cook your food all day, come home and bam dinner is ready!
I like how easy she is to listen to and as she reads the recipes you imagine how they would taste and look. I envision making them, the ingredients needed, how it would smell and about how many people it can feed/leftovers.
I didn't have any extreme emotional reactions to this book, no. I was just interested in new recipe ideas.
If you are looking for a simple diet plan, the Paleo diet might be just what you need. It is naturally gluten free and does not include calorie counting or anything like that. The idea behind it is to copy eating habits of our ancestors who mostly ate lean meats, nuts, fruits and vegetables. This audiobook will guide you every step of the way and will help you lose some weight. The recipes are not complicated and do not require exotic ingredients. 5 stars for this book!
I've purchased many books in the past about the Paleolithic diet and this is probably one of the best. It provides an easy to understand and nicely organized way to succeed in your paleo lifestyle. There are a lot of practical and useful tips included in the audio book and the recipes are very simple and tasty. I recommend getting this book, you will most certainly lose some serious pounds and feel and look healthier.
I knew it won't be easy to put behind processed foods, grains and sugar, and base your diet around meats, fruits and vegetables. But thanks to this book's not-strict paleo plan and delicious recipes I am already 3 weeks into the diet. It is less diet and more of a healthy lifestyle. I lost a couple of pounds but more importantly I feel more energetic and so clear-headed. I recommend this audiobook as a great paleo guide and for the price, it's definitely a great deal.
