I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone! Why? Because it is the answer to everyone's health issues!
The most memorable moment was an experience shared within the book. It was as if the person was channeling my body and putting into words all the health issues I have suffered with my entire 40+ years of life!
My favorite character performed by Tess Masters was of Shelley Young. I felt as if Mrs. Young was sitting right there next to me, holding my hand, and explaining all that could be for me just by transitioning my diet.
The real life experiences really moved me because they are the proof of what the Young's have been saying all these years. And now I'm becoming of them!
In the past 4 weeks while listening and applying the things I've heard from this book I have: lost 8 pounds, have not been sleeping all the time, mind is clearer and more positive, have stopped taking all medications and the doctors are amazed at my test results!!! I am finally living my life and enjoying it with such joy and excitement!!! This is a blessing!!!

This is not for everyone. If you read other authors (Dr. Fuhrman, for example) mushrooms are one of the best foods you can add to your diet. The Youngs advocate removing them from your diet. When you have experts disagreeing, where do you turn for more information?

The Father of Medicine said "Let thy food be thy Medicine" and that is true more than ever with GMO's, Pesticides, Chemicals, Herbicides, and a host of things invading our bodies. Understand our blood chemistry and what changes our blood's chemistry is very controversial but there are other bodies of evidence that this approach could lead us away from the SAD diet we consume today. Dr. Victor A. Marcial-Vega Renowned Oncologist and Medical Researcher--John Hopkins trained did a Clinical Study of Goji reducing the Acidity in the blood. Yes - If I had enough time to sit and listen to this book I would have listened straight through.
The two readers made the book more real, alive, and for me gave it a new dimension that kept my interest and added more feeling to the stories of real changes for people who embarked down this process. I find it very interesting that connection between the pH Miracle and the work doctor Max Gerson, M.D. and the Gerson institute has been using for years. The foods are similar but there are major differences in the specific foods one ingests to heal. I also find it very interesting that T. Colin Campbell, an American biochemist who specializes in the effects of nutrition on long-term health, recommends many of the same basic principles of eating healthy organic vegetables, no meat, and no dairy. Is there a connection with eating a vegan diet that is free from chemicals and changing the pH of our body? Can juicing and coffee colonics rid our bodies of poisons? I am on the quest to find out and this book is one I have added to my collection for how to heal thyself and one I found very interesting.
Not only do I recommend the audiobook I also purchased the book and would almost buy dido copies for my friends if I had the money! not only can I sit back and listen over and over I can use the book as a quick reference for the great food combinations. The informational content and easy listening voices kept me wanting to know more. I can only lift a few lbs. which made the audiobook a Godsend. When I read books I seem to fall asleep and lose interest and that is why the audiobook is so helpful. Either way it was money well spent.

The Zone or The Atkins Diet
not really, though I found some of the stories of wellness inspiring.
First off, I have to admit I love reading about nutrition, especially dietary regimens. I found the book motivational and have implemented some of the nutritional ideas and am reaping the benefits.
