this is a fantastic book. it is highly informative, interesting and best of all there is none of the now pervasive sensationalist dogma that is so hard to get away from these days. its just the facts from a highly credible source.

Waiting for critics to dispute the research not the style or the author. Why hasn't the money poured into cancer research come up with any effective means of prevention? I never wanted to go vegetarian because so many older vegetarian women are not fit and healthy role models. Now I see that the milk they still drink could be the reason. How could anyone not pass this book on to friends and family who are heading towards disease? Do we have to wait for cancer rates in China and India to rise as affluence increases?
This book is revolutionary. T. Colin Campbell has been a leading nutrition researcher for many years. He and others have convincingly demonstrated that a low-fat, low-protein, plant-based whole foods diet prevents and even reverses the major chronic diseases of Western societies. If you want to get healthy or stay healthy, this is perhaps the most important audio book you will ever listen to. The book itself is very well done. Don't be put off by it being an abridged version. A substantial part of the printed book is charts and graphs that don't translate well into audio. The essential facts are here along with Campbell's personal story, which is remarkable. You may be skeptical about diet books, and with good reason. This is not a diet book. Campbell is a scientist. He sells no diet plans, diet books, or diet foods. His only motivation that I can see is to help people discover the truth about nutrition. The truth, it turns out, is simple. Why it's so hard to learn the truth is not.
This book needs to be read by every living person! This country could be changed dramatically if we would heed what T. Colin Campbell is saying but sad to say only a small number of people will find this book and do what it says. Our government is destroying us in favor of the almighty dollar.
This book could save your life, or at least add five to ten years to it. I rated it a five because of the importance and significance of the message. It is somewhere between a three and four as to interest level.
