This is one of the best audio books I have listened to. Tim's "down to earth" approach and humourus details of his voyage to attain the data for his book keep the listener attentive and amused. Can't wait to hear more from Tim Ferris, You Rock.
it's nice as a first guide but in my opinion it's better to have the text, because Tim talks about much sadistics and data, and also exercise examplos wich you miss in the audio version
What a chore. Maybe this book is better in written form, hearing" egcg", "phca", etc,.. over and over again without just telling us plainly and clearly what to do. This was so frustrating!
The PDF doesn't have anything on the exercises either, really? WTH?
I can't recommend this book to anyone who doesn't have the patience of a saint. It's torture.
Not a typical self help book. I thought it was very entertaining, funny, and enlightening. Tim Ferriss is very good at looking deeper at why things work with very unconventional methods. I would highly recommend this book for anyone that wants maximum output with minimum input.
What's the point of buying an audiobook when it leaves out a significant portion of the actual book? I should've read the description of this book before purchasing it. I have subsequently returned it because there was way too much missing. In my opinion, this audiobook is a complete waste of money. Stick with the Kindle or physical version only.
Other than the fact that this book is way too abridged, Zach McLarty did a great job narrating it.
I am planning a new reality. An life that I control. Thank you Tim.
Tim starts with decent advise on how to shed weight then half way through the book goes way off course and talks about orgasms (always a good time, but here?) and other experiments he has used his body for. At the beginning of the book he warns about causation vs. correlation then later in the book gives advice based on correlation!
Overall the book was entertaining but didn't give enough good information to justify the price on audible. I think it is like thirteen dollars on kindle, that is closer to the value for me. The reading was well done though and the pace was easy to follow.
