I loved 4 hour work week. this sounded a supplement sales pitch (which he sells) it was confusing and hard to follow. His recommendations are obscure and probably the best way to get them would be to buy them from him. I could have done without all of the how to orgasm stuff. not for me
I'm a big fan of Tim Ferris's work, and this book is no exception. However, it seems that the book assumes a certain level of understanding in several of the topics he addresses, particularly the biochemical aspects. I felt a little more explanation of some of the concepts would have been helpful.
Likewise, I felt that the author was good, but not great. At times I felt he was trying to hard.
Overall though, an interesting and thought provoking listen.
I've never heard such a REAL approach to information and tools you need to improve your life, health & overall body image EVER! What was really startling was, I've told my clients for years about swimming being the best exercise for them on many levels, me being a state champion swimmer but, it wasn't until I actually listened to the words being said, "Heat Conversion" that it clicked! That's why I was in the best shape of my life! That moment was My Moment!! Thank you so much!!!
I learned of Tim Ferriss through his podcast, so I became interested in his books. This book in particular, you can pull out what interests you, as not all of it will apply. It's many scenarios / life- hacks to improve whatever area of your life you want to work on. So browse through the table of contents first. Much of it is very scientific & he discusses research he's done, so you may need to re-read some parts to get the full understanding , although he does a great job of explaining in a humorous way. The reader was fine, but I think after hearing the author's voice on podcasts, the author would have done a fantastic job reading it.
Tim Ferriss can tell a story better than anyone!
